Get paid when unknowns email you

Turn cold email, cold DMs, and low-intent pitches into cover payments—or sift them out—without exposing your real inbox.

Definition

With sift.mx, unsolicited senders either pay your cover to be delivered or they do not reach you. Cold email and cold chat attempts become paid attempts; trusted contacts stay free.

Cold outreach is free for them, costly for you

Senders optimize for volume. You pay with focus. A cover does not ban outreach—it prices it so only attempts worth a few dollars get through.

LLM-written vendor email and spray campaigns treat every public address as a free door. Putting a cover on that door flips the economics: if the pitch is not worth a credit or two, it never consumes your week.

Spam that costs someone else

Traditional filters hide junk in a folder you still have to manage. A cover flips the incentive: mass senders who will not pay never consume your attention, and senders who will pay compensate you for the interruption.

You still control the whitelist

Partners, friends, investors, customers, and domains you trust bypass the cover entirely. Getting paid for unknowns does not mean charging people you already chose to hear from.

Email and chat under one handle

Publish name@sift.mx for both gated email and member chat rules. Serious collaborators can pay; spray campaigns usually will not. Chat between members is end-to-end encrypted; email is private forwarding with authenticated intake.

Credits you can withdraw

Cover payments land as credits (1 credit = $0.10). When withdrawals are enabled, you cash out through Stripe Connect. The platform fee is taken at withdrawal—not when the message is delivered.

FAQ

Do people I invite still have to pay?

No. Allowlist anyone who should never hit a paywall. The product is for strangers and automated outreach—not for your existing circle.

Is this guaranteed income?

No. Many low-intent senders will not pay. The win is fewer interruptions; paid covers are optional upside when someone values the attempt.
